The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed with regards to the higher number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The provider position developed for intervention encounters a higher sassa inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to permit the servicing of all clients and enhance access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
